Patrick A. Hefflefinger, 23, of Mechanicsburg, died on Saturday, August 16, 2014, at Carlisle Regional Medical Center from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Monroe Twp. He was born on March 9, 1991, in Carlisle, a son of Donald G. (wife, Ronya Eby) Hefflefinger, III of Mechanicsburg and Melissa (Richwine) Moore of West Virginia.

Patrick was a 2009 graduate of Cumberland Valley High School. Patrick enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding motorcycles.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters; Danyel (husband, Joseph) Arnold of Newville and Courtney Hefflefinger at home, one step-sister, Rachel Eby of Boiling Springs, paternal grandparents; Donald G. and Judy (Bailey) Hefflefinger, Jr. of New Bloomfield, three half-brothers; Jon, Joseph and James Bruce, his girlfriend, Megan Swick of New Cumberland and three nieces.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2014, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover Str., Carlisle. Pastor Linda Lambert will have prayers at 2 p.m. Immediately following the viewing and prayers,a time of fellowship and remembrance will be held at the Carlisle Brethren in Christ Church, 1155 Walnut Bottom Rd., Carlisle.
