Patricia B. Snyder, 73, of Carlisle, beloved wife of Daniel B. Snyder, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at UPMC Carlisle surrounded by family.  She was born on September 4, 1950, in Chambersburg and was a daughter of the late Arthur J. Bittinger, Sr. and Dorothy C. (Helman) Bittinger.

Pat graduated from Cumberland Valley High School in 1969 and the Harrisburg Beauty School.  She was a self-employed beautician for several years.  Pat then became trained and skilled as a big-rig truck driver and joined her husband as a driver.  In her younger years, she enjoyed dancing and visiting the Carlisle Eagles and the Carlisle Club with her husband.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years Daniel B. Snyder, two daughters, Jennifer (husband Steve) Carberry of Carlisle and Cindy Snyder of Carlisle, three brothers, Arthur Bittinger Jr, Ralph Bittinger and Samuel Bittinger, all of Carlisle, two sisters, Carol Barrick of Carlisle and Pam Royster of Fayetteville, NC, 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren with one on the way and many nieces and nephews.

A viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 25, 2024, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Rev.
