Patricia L. Zinn Hosler, a beloved Mother, Nana, and Nanny, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 5th, 2025.
Born on March 18th, 1936, in Newville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Mae (Kline) Zinn. Patricia was preceded in death by her loving husband of 70 years, Joseph Hosler, and four siblings: Dorothy Heckendorn and husband Gerald, Betty Cohick and husband Stanley, Robert Zinn and wife June, and Frances Lindsay and husband Ray.
Patricia is survived by her four children: daughters Connie (Ralph) Starner of Murrells Inlet, SC; Wendy (David) Lehman of Carlisle, PA; and twin sons Joel (Pamela) Hosler of Carlisle, PA, and Jerry (Debra) Hosler of Sinking Spring, PA. She is also survived by five grandchildren: Jason (Stephanie) Lehman, Kelly Lehman, Joseph Hosler, Alison (Mike) Fair, and Kiersten (Adam) Rhoad; and five great-grandchildren: Fiona, Porter, Crue, and twins Kora and Kaia.
Pat attended Newville High School and was a member of the school band front. She was also a member of the Carlisle Area Mother of Twins Club and was deeply dedicated to her family. Throughout her life, Pat supported her children and grandchildren in all of their activities, and one of her most cherished traditions was hosting her grandchildren at her home for "Summer Camp." She also treasured time spent with loved ones at the Hosler cabin in Three Square Hollow.
Pat was a lifelong member of Mount Hope United Methodist Church and was known for her faith, love, and devotion to her family and friends. Patricia will be deeply missed but is now at peace in her Heavenly home, reunited with her husband.
A viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 11th, followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Both will be held at Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 South Hanover Street, Carlisle, PA with Pastor Jimmy Kincaid officiating. Interment will be held at Westminster Memorial Gardens, 1159 Newville Road, Carlisle, PA.
