Patricia A. Ewell, 76, of Carlisle, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025, at Carlisle Skilled Nursing & Rehab.  She was born on September 5, 1949, in Burnwell, West Virginia and was a daughter of the late Richard White and Helen (Pridgen) White.

Pat graduated from Carlisle High School with class of 1967.  She began her work career with the Commonwealth of PA and retired from Sprint Telephone with many years of service.  Pat was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Carlisle.

She is survived by two sons, Sidney Ewell, Jr. and Todd Ewell, both of Carlisle, one brother Benjamin White of Harrisburg, one sister Angelyn Jackson of Carlisle, seven grandchildren, Alyshia Clark-Ewell, Shaytra Ewell, Carroll Sidney Ewell, III, Jaydah Ewell-Reasner, Sydney Ewell, Synclaire Ewell and Sincere Ewell, eight great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by one brother Richard White, Jr. and one nephew Andre White, Jr.

A viewing will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, followed by the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle.  Pastor Lamont Ewell will officiate the service.  The burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.  Memorial contributions may be made to her church.  www.EwingBrothers.com.
