Norman Eugene Poet, 66, of Halifax, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at his sister's home in Carlisle.  He was born on September 18, 1958, in Lewistown and was a son of the late Richard C. Poet and Mary D. (Koch) Poet.

Norman graduated from Cumberland Valley High School in 1975.  He retired from Fry Communications after 30 years of service.  Norman served in the U. S. Navy from 1977 to 1982.

He is survived by two sons, Michael and Kody Poet, one daughter Jessica Poet, four sisters, Dormata Proctor, Denise Young, Laurie Taylor and Christy Smith, five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
