Nina L. Sheaffer, 74, of Carlisle, died Friday, February 5, 2010, in the Carlisle Regional Medical Center. She was born May 11, 1935, in Carlisle, and was a daughter of the late Clyde Sheaffer and Cleo R. (Berry) Sheaffer Shank.

Nina was a 1954 graduate of Carlisle High School and had worked at the former Carlisle Hospital for 18 years. She retired from Harrisburg Health Care after four years of service as a bookkeeper. Nina formerly attended St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Carlisle.

She is survived by several cousins.

Graveside service and burial will be in Westminster Cemetery, Carlisle at the convenience of the family. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisleis in charge of arrangements.
