Nikki J. Ker, 78, of Carlisle, passed away on Monday, June 12, 2023, at UPMC Carlisle.  She was born on April 20, 1945, in Carlisle and was the daughter of the late Nicholas Krawciw and Jean (Clay) Krawciw.

She graduated from Carlisle High School in 1963 and earned her Bachelors' degree in psychology from Shippensburg University in 2000.  She was employed for 12 years with the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence and formerly worked as bookkeeper with the former Leader Nursing Home, Cumberland Crossings Retirement Community and the Carlisle Hospital.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years William O. Ker, one son Nicholas (fiancé Gwyn) Ker of Pittsburgh, one brother Michael Krawciw of Carlisle and two grandchildren, Dakota and Mackenzie Ker.  Nikki was preceded in death by one son William O. Ker, III.

A viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 16, 2023, in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S.
