Nickolas G. Fourlas, 56, of Carlisle, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2011, at his home. He was born on Saturday, April 23, 1955, in Carlisle, a son of the late George and Harriet (Pylarinos) Fourlas.

Nick was a 1974 graduate of Carlisle High School and had worked for more than 20 years with the Carlisle Post Office as a rural carrier. He was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Camp Hill. Nick was a member and honorary President of Carlisle Eagles Aerie 1299. He enjoyed bowling and doing charity work for the Eagles.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Elizabeth A. (Vincett) Fourlas, three sons, George N. Fourlas of Eugene, Oregon, Kenneth C. Fourlas of Carlisle and Thomas I. Fourlas at home, one daughter, Alethea B. Fourlas of Carlisle, three brothers, John Fourlas of Carlisle, Jim Fourlas of Newville and Gust Fourlas of Gettysburg.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 8, 2011, at 7:30 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Pastor Tim Wheeler officiating. Viewing will be held onFriday from 6:00 p.m. until time of the services. Burial will be private.
