Nellie R. Ensminger, 95, of Carlisle, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2016 at the Sarah A. Todd Memorial Home, Carlisle. She was born on August 17, 1920 in Blain, Perry County, the daughter of the late Allen and Mary (Metherell) Kessler, and the widow of B. Floyd Ensminger, Sr., who died Aug. 12, 2000.

Nellie was a homemaker and attended Carlisle First Church of God.

Nellie was predeceased by her son, Bryan Floyd Ensminger, who died Feb. 28, 2012.

A viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 19, 2016 followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St, Carlisle. Rev. Michael Poe will officiate. Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery, Carlisle. Memorial donations may be made to her church.
