Miriam J. Mentzer, 92, of Carlisle, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2020 at her home.  She was born on June 30, 1928 in York Springs and was a daughter of the late Thomas and Ruth (Minter) Emlet.

Miriam was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses Carlisle Congregation.  She retired after many years of service with the Piezo Crystal Co., Carlisle.

She is survived by three daughters; Wanda L. (and her husband, Palmer) Darr of Carlisle, Vickie A. Line of Newville and Tammy J. (and her husband, J. R.) Richardson of Ormond Beach, FL, 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Todd Line and grandson Colton Barnhart.
