Mildred Ann Koppen, 93, of Carlisle, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024, at Claremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle. She was born on December 10, 1930, in Locust Gap, PA and was a daughter of the late Thomas Kane and Elizabeth (Kress) Kane. Mildred was the widow of Joseph J. Koppen, Sr. who died April 20, 1977.

Mildred was a loving and devoted homemaker for her family. She was a longtime member of  St. Patrick Catholic Church in Carlisle.

She is survived by one son Joseph J. Koppen, Jr. and his wife Kathy of Carlisle, two daughters, Anne M. Melphis of Carlisle, and Mary Patricia "Trish" Ocker and her husband Ron of Carlisle, five grandchildren, Jessica Melphis, Kelly Melphis, Jennifer Lloyd and husband Jeff, Amy Barnett and Chassy Stutenroth and her husband Jason, six great-grandchildren, J. J., Jordynn, Jarrett and Jaxson Lloyd and Alyvia and Eli Barnett all of Carlisle. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Joseph, Thomas, Francis, and Bernard Kane.

A viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 15, 2024, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Patrick Catholic Church, 85 Marsh Drive, Carlisle, PA with Father Chiedozie F. Ononuju officiating. The burial will be in St. Patrick Catholic Church Cemetery in North Middleton Twp. Memorial contributions may be made to Amedisys Hospice.  www.EwingBrothers.com.
