Mildred I. "Doll" Beidel, 94, of Carlisle, died on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Cumberland Crossings Retirement Community. She was born on July 24, 1921 in Mt. Holly Springs, and was a daughter of the late Charles and Gertrude (Jumper) Sanno and the widow of Roy O. Beidel, who died Jan. 7, 2010.

Mildred retired from the former G. S. Electric, Carlisle after many years of service. She had also worked for the former Reeves-Hoffman Inc. also of Carlisle. She was a member of Bethel Assembly of God, Carlisle. Mildred loved being with her family, traveling and going out to eat.

She is survived by one daughter, Louann (husband, Bob) Shields of Carlisle, one grandson, Cody (wife, Davidiene) Hair, two granddaughters; Jody (husband, Dave) Crozier, and Amber (husband, Brian) Garland, one step-daughter, Joyce Myers, four step-sons; Galen, Wayne, Jay and Bradley Beidel, five great-grandchildren, several step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by three brothers; Charles, Walter and Landis Sanno and four sisters; Mabel Miller, Vada Smith, Nellie Bollinger and Gladys Barrick.

A viewing will be held on Monday, November 23, 2015 from 6 - 8:00 p.m. at the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Chuck Kish and Pastor Tim Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. Memorial contributions may be made to the local Alzheimer's Association in Mildred's name.
