Michael L. Flickinger, 69, of Carlisle passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at his home.  He was born on January 17, 1955, in Carlisle and was a son of the late Richard L. Flickinger and Janet (Rice) Flickinger.

Michael graduated from West Perry High School in 1974.  He then joined the US Army and was honorably discharged and transferred to the Army National Guard of Pennsylvania.  He retired as a Sergeant First Class from the Guard after 20 years of service.  Michael worked for Carlisle Tire and Rubber and retired from Carlisle Syntec after many years of service.

He is survived by one son Nathaniel M. (wife Cassandra) Flickinger of East Petersburg, one brother Robert Flickinger of Carlisle, two sisters, Kathy L. Landis of Elliottsburg and Brenda Mellott of Carlisle, one grandson Brantley Flickinger and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2024, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S.
