Michael Leroy Failor, Sr., 71, of Carlisle, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at home.  He was born on November 3, 1953, in Carlisle and was a son of the late David Failor, Sr. and Mariam (Vanasdalan) Failor.

Mike attended Carlisle High School.  He drove truck for Clouse Trucking and retired as a self-employed mechanic at the family's Salvage Yard in Carlisle.  Mike enjoyed working on cars and spending time with his family, especially his great-grandchildren and he loved his cats.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years Darlene L (Sennett) Failor, one daughter Michelle Failor of Gardners, one son Michael Failor, Jr of Newville, three brothers, Westley Failor, David Failor, Jr. and Rodney Failor, one sister Vickie Frye, three granddaughters, Jamie Miller, Kiara Failor and Madilyn Failor, one great-grandson Jaxton Crain, three great-granddaughters, Addy Pierce, Maisie Crain and Aubree Pierce and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by one sister Audrey Adams.
