Melvin L. "Buzz" Felton, Jr., 56, of Carlisle, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017 at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center. He was born on November 1, 1960 in Carlisle, and is the son of Charmaine N. (Byers) Felton of Carlisle and the late Melvin L. Felton, Sr.

Buzz attended Carlisle High School and Job Corp in Pittsburgh.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 33 years, Barbara Ann (Baer) Felton, one daughter, Ayeisha C. Felton and one son, Paul A. Coleman and his companion, Chante N. Shildt, all of Carlisle, three sisters; Tracy L. Felton, Kimberly A. Barnes and Joyce J. Nicholson and her husband Rudolph, all of Carlisle, three grandchildren; Kyra C. B. Coleman of Ithaca, NY, D'Mauri Q. Felton and Major K. Robinson, both of Carlisle and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A visitation will begin at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 followed by a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Pastor Duane Coleman officiating. Burial will be private.
