Mary E. Zolensky, 96, of Carlisle, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Chapel Pointe in Carlisle. She was born on August 9, 1921 in Bentleyville, and was a daughter of the late George and Mary (Skrbin) Grdish and was the widow of Walter Zolensky, who passed away on February 10, 2013.

Mary graduated in 1938 from Centerville High School in Brownsville. She retired as a sales associate with the Sears & Roebuck Co. in Norristown. Mary is a member of the St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church in Indiana, PA.

She is survived by one daughter-in-law, Judy Zolensky-Sturtz and her husband Roger Sturtz of Carlisle, one granddaughter, Shana Lynn Morrow and her husband David Morrow of York and one great-grandson, Jackson Morrow. Mary was preceded in death by one son, Walter Zolensky, who passed away in 1996, one brother, George Grdish, Jr. and one sister, Anne Simon.

Private burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana, PA. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of the arrangements. www.Since1853.com.
