Mary M. (Rhinehart) Welker, 80, of Carlisle, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023, at Carlisle Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on December 15, 1942, in Carlisle and was a daughter of the late Ralph A. Rhinehart and Ruth Irene (Lehman) Rhinehart and was the widow of the late Robert Forrest Welker who died on January 22, 2017.

Mary was a loving homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, Walter (Louann) Rhinehart and Chris (Tosha) Welker, one daughter, Jennifer Welker, one stepson, Robert (Vicki) Welker, of Carlisle, one sister Virginia Shepard of Carlisle, 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.  Mary was preceded in death by two daughters, Nancy M. Welker, and Kathlene K. Welker, four brothers, Ralph Jr., Raymond and James, Richard Rhinehart, two sisters Margaret Myers, Clara Mummert, one granddaughter, one grandson, one great-grandson.

A viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 27, 2023, followed by funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle with Rev. George Strayer Sr. officiating.  Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.  www.Since1853.com.
