Mary Marie "Mammy" Smith, 82, of Boiling Springs fell asleep in death on Wednesday, October 19, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Cornie and Violet Rowles; husband of 51 years, Paul Smith; sister, Patricia Dry of Steelton; her eldest son, Curtis Smith of Carlisle; Son-in-Law, David Rouner of Gardners; Daughter-in-Law Susan Smith of Mechanicsburg; granddaughter Amanda Sue Gail Rouner of Carlisle; and grandson Joshua Smith of Shippensburg and Virginia.

She is survived by two siblings, John Rowles of Carlisle and Kenneth Rowles of Manchester; six children, Deborah Rouner of Gardners, Lorraine (Donald) Davis of Carlisle, Tina (William) Sheaffer of Mt. Holly Springs, Jeffrey Smith of Carlisle, Teresa (Harry) Laughman of Mt. Holly Springs, and Chris Smith of Carlisle; twenty-three grandchildren; thirty-four great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was a faithful member of the Carlisle congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, a dedicated servant of Jehovah and follower of Christ for 68 years. She was involved in full-time ministry for 29 years. She was employed by Musselman's in Biglerville and managed the GNC Nutrition store in Carlisle. She enjoyed traveling with her family, who she loved very much. Her favorite flower was the Orchid. She also had a very large spiritual family that she adored. We patiently wait to see her here again.

A memorial service will be held Friday, Oct 28th at 7 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Carlisle with Jerry Ilgenfritz officiating. A private graveside service for family will be held on Saturday.  www.EwingBrothers.com.
