Mary Ritchuck, 95, of Carlisle, died on Monday, April 13, 2015 at Forest Park Health Center, Carlisle. She was born Sept. 17, 1919 in Buck Run, a daughter of the late Michael and Tessie (Solan) Cooper and was the widow of Charles Ritchuck, who died April 15, 2004.

Mary retired from the Hamburg State School and Hospital after 22 years of service as a nurse's aide. She was a member of St. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church in Minersville. Mary enjoyed gardening and embroidering.

She is survived by one daughter, Barbara A. Lagaza of Carlisle, two grandsons; Jerry (Anita) Sternick of Minersville and Jason (Crystel) Sternick of Carlisle, two great-granddaughters; Caitlin and Katie Sternick, one brother, Andrew Cooper of Pennsauken, NJ and several nieces and nephews.

A viewing will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2015 followed by the funeral services at 10:00 a.m. in the Henry Chapel at Chapel Pointe, 770 S. Hanover St., Carlisle. Rev. Stephen Motter and Rev. Walt Frankenberry will officiate. Interment will be in St. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church Cemetery, Llewellyn.
