Mary Jane Horne, 67, of Mt. Holly Springs, died Friday, February 12, 2016 at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill. She was born on May 21, 1948 in Carlisle, and was a daughter of the late Charles A. and Catherine R. (Brehm) Sampson.

Jane graduated from Boiling Springs High School. She currently worked with the Keystone Blind Association at the Plainfield Travel Plaza along the PA Turnpike. Jane had also worked at Walmart and the former Bedford Shoe Co., Carlisle for many years. Jane loved to shop and make arts and crafts.

She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Warren C. Horne, one daughter, Candy L. Sampson of Carlisle, two brothers; Paul Sampson of Dover and Arthur Sampson of Carlisle, three sisters; Martha Griffie and Darlene Uplinger both of Carlisle and Barbara Sampson of Middletown, one granddaughter, Mackenzie Sampson and many nieces and nephews. Jane was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St, Carlisle, with Rev. Richard Reese officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 from 6 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
