Mary L. Grimes, 77, of Newville, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at UPMC Carlisle.  She was born on March 13, 1945, in Mainsville, Franklin County and was a daughter of the late Clarence K. Jumper and Mildred E. (Flory) Wyrick and was the widow of John E. Grimes who died August 11, 2016.

Mary worked for many years at C. H. Masland & Sons and retired from Lear Corp, Carlisle.  Mary enjoyed NASCAR and dirt track racing.

She is survived by one daughter Pamela Rowe of Carlisle, four sisters, Nancy Hockenberry of Chambersburg, Jane Wyrick of Walnut Bottom, Barb Ward of Shippensburg and Patsy Jumper of Walnut Bottom; four brothers, Ron Jumper of Carlisle, William Jumper of Walnut Bottom, Bob Jumper of Walnut Bottom and Don Jumper of Gardners, two grandchildren, Tyler and Shannon Rowe, one great-granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.  Mary was preceded in death by one son-in-law Tony Rowe and one brother Richard Jumper.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, 1921 Ritner Highway, Carlisle.  For a complete obituary visit www.EwingBrothers.com .
