Mary Kathryn Fagan, 94, of Carlisle, died Monday, May 27, 2013, at Thornwald Home, Carlisle. She was born July 31, 1918, in Avoca, a daughter of the late James and Kathryn (Maloney) Galvin, and was the widow of Charles C. Fagan, who died June 8, 1990.

Mary was a high school graduate and also received an Associate degree from the Scranton-Lackawanna College. Mary was a homemaker and a faithful member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church, Carlisle. She was preceded in death by three brothers; James, Joseph and Thomas Galvin.

Mary is survived by nephews; John Galvin of New Cumberland and James Galvin of Avoca and one niece, Julie Reeves of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 8, 2013, at 11:00 AM in the St. Patrick Shrine Church, 152 W. Pomfret St., Carlisle, with Rev. William C. Forrey officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation. Private burial will be in Westminster Cemetery, Carlisle. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made St. Patrick Catholic Church.
