Mary K. Crawford, 95, of Harrisburg, passed away on Saturday October 31, 2026, at home with her loving family by her side. She was born on May 12, 1931, in Carlisle, to the late William T. and Anna (Thomas) Thompson. She was the widow of the late William S. “Boo” Banks.

She graduated from Carlisle High School. She was a longtime member of the Harris AME Zion Church in Harrisburg where she was a mother of the church. She loved to play bingo and spend time with her family. Mary was an accountant for ITT Technical Institute.

Mary is survived by three daughters, Ivra Kendall, Patrice Price, and Linda Thompson, three sons, Michael Crawford, Darnell Crawford, and Victor Banks, seven granddaughters, Tameika McNaugh, Shelly Crawford, Chanel Crawford, Siedah Crawford, Lakita Queen, Nicole Crawford, and Mia Crawford, and six grandsons, Ray George, Jason Crawford, Anthony Crawford, Michael Crawford, Michael Crawford Jr., and Darnell Crawford Jr. in addition to her husband she was predeceased by two sons, Seymore Crawford and Steven Crawford.

A viewing will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, at the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St. Carlisle, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Jameson McLaughlin officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery in Carlisle.
