Martha J. Hodge Ruby, affectionately known as " Moody" was born on February 7, 1963, in Carlisle, PA to the late Roberta Hodge Pacheo.

She attended the Carlisle Public School System and graduated from Carlisle High School in 1981. Martha had a passion for baking, cooking and went on to achieve her love of the culinary arts world. She had the gift for arts & crafts, knitting, crocheting and a green thumb for all kinds of plants as well.  Martha would spend effortless time putting together 1000 piece puzzles, and also had a humongous heart for animals, especially for gizzy and scrappy.

Martha loved all of her family dearly, one day GOD placed two beautiful children in her life, Cree Essence Watt and the late Christian Spencer Watt. Our lord and savior Jesus Christ called Martha home to glory on Monday December 15, 2025.

Martha leaves behind to cherish a legacy of everlasting love to remember her always, her daughter Cree E. Watt (Simara), bonus sons Gerald W. Watt Jr and Allen L. Watt. She also leaves behind her amazing sisters, Dianne M. Key (Anthony T.), Mary Jane Hodge and brother David F. Hodge, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 26, 2025, followed by her Homegoing Service at 11:00 a.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle with Rev. Ivy Berry officiating.  The burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.  For those wishing to help the family with funeral expenses, contributions may be sent to Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S.
