Marshall B. "Marty" Anderson, 67, of Carlisle, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, in the Jefferson Abington Hospital in Abington, PA.  He was born on December 20, 1954, in Carlisle and was a son of the late Sylvester S. Anderson, Sr. and Hannah (Jackson) Anderson.

Marty graduated from Carlisle High School in 1973.  He worked for AMP Inc and retired from Tyco Inc. with many years of combined service.  After retirement, he worked at Carlisle High School as a hall monitor.  Marty was an avid Carlisle High School sports fan.  He also loved to watch his grandchildren play sports and loved playing golf.  Marty was always able to put a smile on your face, no matter the time or the place.  He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion with the Haines-Stackfield American Legion Post in Carlisle.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Susan J. (Condon) Anderson, one son Andre M. (wife Sofia) Anderson of Carlisle, one daughter Casey S. (husband Richard) Anderson Rayborn of Collegeville, 6 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by one brother Sylvester "Tyke" Anderson, Jr.

A visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 11, 2022, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle with Pastor Gary Stackfield, Jr. as the officiant.  Burial will be private.  www.EwingBrothers.com.
