Marilyn J. McNally, 80, of Carlisle, died Thursday, January 5, 2012, at Carlisle Regional Medical Center. She was born on Monday, December 28, 1931, in Massillon, Ohio, a daughter of the late Harold P. and Ida M. (Malcuit) Gabele, and the widow of Lawrence M. McNally.

She was a 1949 graduate of Mt. Marie High School in Canton, OH and attended Notre Dame University for four years, where she studied nursing and music. She worked for Gray Drug, Inc. and Welch's Party Shop for many years, both of Massillon, OH. Marilyn was of Catholic faith.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 10, 2012, in Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery, with Rev. William C. Forrey officiating. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity of your choice.
