Marie E. Keck, 88, of Carlisle, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2015 at Harrisburg Hospital. She was born on April 12, 1927 in Carlisle and was the daughter of the late Paul C. and Mildred J. (Myers) Rhoads, and was the widow of Lester L. Keck, Sr., who died March 7, 2006.

Marie was a loving homemaker and had also driven school bus for the Big Spring School District for 22 years. She was a longtime member of Good Shepherd Community United Methodist Church, Carlisle. Marie was an avid bowler. She enjoyed trips with her husband to the hunting cabin in Clinton County, going to the beach, crocheting and the companionship of her dogs.

She is survived by two sons; Lester L. (wife, Andrea) Keck, Jr. and Garry L. Keck, both of Carlisle, one brother, Robert Rhoads of Lakeland, FL, 4 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son, Ricky Lee Keck, who died in 1975.

A visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 20, 2015 followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Pastor Richard Noggle officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. Memorial donations in Marie's name may be made to Good Shepherd Community United Methodist Church, 2135 Ritner Highway, Carlisle, PA 17015.
