Margaret J. Zinn, 75, of Carlisle, passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, in the Sarah A. Todd Memorial Home, Carlisle.  She was born on September 6, 1946, in Harrisburg and was the daughter of the late Catherine Zimmerman and Reginald Magugan.

Margaret was a devoted homemaker.  She retired from Carlisle Ribbon Mill – Newville Ribbon Mill after 33 years of service.  She was a member of the Carlisle Church of God.  Margaret was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years Edwin L. Zinn, Sr., one daughter Leisa M. (husband Billy) Russell of Carlisle, one sister Lydia (husband Richard) Mellott of Carlisle, three grandchildren, Amanda Russell (Steve Kitts), Billy Russell, Jr. (Rhianna Hall) and Adam Russell (Haley Eshelman), six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Margaret was preceded in death by one son Edwin L. Zinn, Jr., two sisters, Julie Phillips, and Sandra Reisinger and one great-grandson.

A viewing will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, February 7, 2022, followed by funeral services at 1:30 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S.
