Marcy M. Rotella (maiden name Marcy B. Mitchell), age 49 years old, passed away at Chestnut Hill Hospital in Philadelphia, PA on April 2, 2024, at 6:40 pm (she was a resident of Carlisle, Pennsylvania).

Marcy M. Rotella is survived by her husband William J. Rotella Jr., her daughter Grace L. Rotella, her son Mitchell K. Rotella, her brothers, Christopher Mitchell and Brett Mitchell, and her parents, William Mitchell and Jacqueline Rodriguez, and her step-parents, Karen Mitchell and Javier Rodriguez.

Marcy graduated Muhlenberg High School in Temple, PA and received an associates degree in retail sales from Reading Area Community College in Reading, PA. Marcy had served in the U.S. Marines but was discharged due to injuries during basic training. Marcy suffered from Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy type 1 since her diagnosis in 2007. Marcy was always optimistic, family oriented, liked reading poetry and writing poetry, and enjoyed ice skating and watching ice skating and hockey.

Marcy is an organ donor and is saving lives through the Gift of Life nonprofit in Philadelphia.

The burial service will be at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, PA.  www.EwingBrothers.com.
