Marcia A. (McKee) Calaman, 85, formerly of Carlisle, passed away on Friday, September 15, 2023, at her home in Shippensburg with family by her side.  She was born on November 7, 1937, in Carlisle and was a daughter of the late Harold "Bill McKee and Elsie A. (Grimes) McKee and was the widow of Robert L. Calaman who passed away on July  1, 2010.

She graduated from Carlisle High School with the class of 1955.  Marcia retired from Carlisle Syntec after 22 years of service as an executive assistant.  She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Walnut Bottom.  Marcia enjoyed taking care of her family and home.  She enjoyed reading the Bible and enjoyed baking.

She is survived by one son, Barry L. Calaman and his spouse David Groft of Harrisburg, two daughters, Leslie A. and her spouse Michael R. McBeth of Shippensburg and Pamela E. Varner and her companion Brad Souder of Shippensburg, one sister Vickie Miller of Carlisle, four grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by one brother Harold McKee and two sisters, Calista Jean McKee and Harriet "Deb" McKee Lightner.

A Memorial Service will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2023, in the Trinity United Methodist Church, 118 West Main Street, Walnut Bottom , PA 17266 with Rev. Robert E. Stump officiating.  Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the church.  The family will also receive friends for a time fellowship and refreshments immediately following the service at the church.  A private graveside service will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Thursday at 10:30 a.m.  The family kindly requests memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church in Walnut Bottom.  www.EwingBrothers.com.
