Mafalda I. "Muffy" Putt, 83, of Carlisle, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 from Forest Park Health Center, Carlisle.  She was born on June 16, 1935 in Brooklyn, NY and was a daughter of the late Larry Violante and Louise (Chitti) Walker.

Muffy graduated from Carlisle High School with the class of 1953.  She enjoyed being part of her husband's ministry in the Grace Gospel Church in Sharpsburg, KY for 29 years.  Muffy sang solos and was a big part of the music ministry.  She taught children and women's Bible Study.  She enjoyed watching of old movies.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 62 years, Rev. Robert E. Putt, Sr., two sons; Robert E. Putt, Jr. of Lexington, KY and Steven M. Putt of New Orleans, LA, one brother, Larry Violante, Jr. of York, two brothers; Kenneth Walker, Jr. and Joseph Walker both of Bloserville and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by two brothers; Stanley and William Walker.

A viewing will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 26, 2019 followed by funeral services at 2:30 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle with Rev. Michael R. Poe and Rev. Greg L. Hench officiating.  Burial will be private at Mt.
