Madelyn J. (Caufman) Hill, 91, formerly of Mt. Holly Springs, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025, at Forest Park Health Center, Carlisle.  She was born on July 27, 1934, in Gardners and was a daughter of the late John W. Caufman and Sara E. (Thompson) Caufman.  She was the widow of Frank H. Hill, Jr., who passed away January 25, 2007.

Madelyn was a devoted homemaker raising all their children. Through her early life, Madelyn worked at the Carlisle Food Market in Carlisle and then sold Avon for many years. Later in her life, Madelyn became the Manager of Pitt St Properties out of York PA. Madelyn loved her feline companion, "Buffy".

She is survived by son, Kenneth C. (Joanne) Hill, Sr. of Carlisle, three daughters, Sharon L. (Brian) Mackie of Camp Hill, Elizabeth E. "Boots" Hill (Ricky Wilcox) of Carlisle, and Tanya L. (Darrell) Wanish of Shippensburg, one brother Dave Caufman, four sisters, Gaylea Kelly, Nancy Roof, Linda Jumper and Susan Morda, 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.  Madelyn was preceded in death by two sons, Robert and William Hill, one stepson Ronald Hill, three brothers, Earl, Ronald and John Caufman, Jr. and one sister Maryann Martin.

The Family wanted to give thanks for the staff at Forest Park Nursing Home and Compassus for the Hospice care they gave our Mother.

Mom you will be missed by all of us.  We all love you!

A viewing will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, November 24, 2025, followed by a funeral service at 1:30 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle with Pastor Richard Shearer and Rev. Harvey Hill officiating.  Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.  www.EwingBrothers.com.
