Louise Marie Manning, 83, of Carlisle, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 12, 2023, at her home.  She was born on March 31, 1940, in Waynesboro and was a daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Jones) Crane.

After graduating Patterson High School, Louise attended the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. She would later work at Johns Hopkins Hospital in the Information Technology Department and became a manager of operations. Louise went on to establish the first wide scale use of personal computers at Union Memorial Hospital. Louise ended her career at the Center for Population Control at Johns Hopkins University.

She is survived by her sister Nancy Koenig of Carlisle and brother Edward Fellows (wife Diana) of Florida, her daughter Catherine Stone, granddaughter Elizabeth Pasley (husband Dakotah), great-granddaughters Josephine and Ada Pasley, her daughter Laura Bello, grandsons, Evan Stone, Brett Herold and Micheal Bello, granddaughter Charlotte Bello, and her son Henry Jay Manning (wife Jennifer), granddaughters Grace Manning and Rachel Leslie, grandson Tyler Manning, great-granddaughter Jada Leslie and great-grandson Eli Leslie and several nieces and nephews.
