Linda A. Snyder, 79, of Carlisle, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at her home with family by her side.  She was born on May 17, 1941 in Carlisle and was a daughter of the late Albert Hollinger and Sarah (Brown) Hollinger.

Linda earned her GED and worked at several companies in the Carlisle area.  She retired while working for the Carlisle Walmart after many years of service as a cashier.  Linda also worked for Piezo Crystal Co. and Hills Department Store, both of Carlisle.  Linda loved to play Bingo.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years Randolph L. Snyder, Sr., one son Randolph L. (wife Cathy) Snyder, Jr. of Newville, one daughter Carol (husband Mark) Hurley of Newville, four sisters, Carol Highlands of Floyd, VA, Rose Hollinger of Carlisle, Judy Hollinger of Chambersburg and Patricia Taylor of Camp Hill, a half-sister Beatrice Weaver of Carlisle, 4 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.  Linda was preceded in death by a half-sister Stella Paxton and four half-brothers, Don, Robert, Bruce and Jerome Lebo.

A viewing will be held on Friday, February 5, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle.  Burial will be held at 2:45 p.m. in the Prospect Hill Cemetery, Carlisle Road, Newville, PA with Pastor Scott Hocker officiating.  www.Since1853.com.
