Linda Maurice, 75, of Carlisle, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 11, 2015, at Forest Park Health Center, Carlisle. She was born on May 29, 1939, in Carlisle, a daughter of the late Robert and Margaret S. (Durnin) Group.

Linda was a Carlisle High School graduate and retired from Tyco after many years of service with the former Amp Inc. and Tyco. Linda enjoyed flower gardening and loved animals.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 36 years, John C. Maurice, one son, Robert Nelson of Shiremanstown, one daughter, Peggy (husband, John) Wilcox of Cincinnati, OH, two stepsons; John (wife, Dolly) Maurice of Charlotte, NC, Donald "Doc" (wife, Donna) Maurice of Carlisle, two stepdaughters; Jacquie (husband, Steve) Gensel of Franklin, West Virginia and Laurie (husband, Bill) Turner of Carlisle, one sister, Sharon Losch of Dillsburg and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A viewing will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday, January 16, 2015, followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Pastor Scott Hocker officiating. Burial will be in LeTort Cemetery, Carlisle.
