Linda A. (Maclay) Crampton, 73 of McConnellsburg, PA passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at home with family by her side. She was born on September 7, 1952, in Chambersburg and was a daughter of the late Jack Maclay and surviving mother Joann Gephart. Linda was the widow of Michael Crampton.

She was a 1970 graduate of Shippensburg High School. Linda retired from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania with 35 years of service, where she worked in many roles within the Department of Environmental Protection and the Department of Health. Mike & Linda owned and operated Crampton Manor B&B in her retirement years. Linda was a member of the Middle Spring Presbyterian Church, Shippensburg. She was the club president of the Fulton County North End Garden Club and a member of the McConnellsburg Eastern Star.

She is survived by two sons, Eric Willhide of Mechanicsburg, Scott K. Lehman and wife Amanda of Carlisle, one brother Tim Maclay and his wife Tammy of Shippensburg, two sisters, Margie Fleagle and her husband Denny of Shippensburg and Wendy Maclay and wife Sheree of Florida and one granddaughter Samantha DelBorrello and husband Matt, 2 great grandchildren Daxton and Dorothy DelBorello.
