Levi David Collins, Jr., 72, of Carlisle, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at home.  He was born on November 19, 1946 in Brownsville, PA and was a son of the late Levi David Collins, Sr. and Oveda (Jones) Collins and was married to the late Marjorie (Solomon) Collins.

David worked in production for BUDD Inc. in Philadelphia for many years.

He is survived by one son, Harrison David Collins of Harrisburg, one daughter, Timeka Tyson of Baltimore, MD, two brothers; Jeffrey and Michael Collins both of Carlisle, one sister, Melanie Cooper of Carlisle, step-children; Lamar Simmons, Latif Simmons and Nicole Collins of Philadelphia, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  David was preceded in death by two brothers; Robin Allen Collins and Dwight Lee Collins.

A viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 9, 2019 followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle with Rev. Walter R. Reed officiating.  Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.
