IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kolene E.
Spicher
November 29, 1964 – August 16, 2022
Kolene E. (Wickard) Spicher, 57, of Enola, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at UPMC Community Osteopathic, Harrisburg. She was born on November 29, 1964, in Carlisle and was a daughter of the late Raymond C. Wickard, Jr. and Barbara (Kingsborough) Wickard.
Kolene graduated from the Bethany Christian Academy in Camp Hill. She attended the Christ For The Nations, Long Island, NY, and the Katharine Gibbs College. Kolene's passion was art and was a self-employed artist most of her life. Kolene Spicher was a naturally talented artist and painter, and she had a recognizable style that was all her own. She designed artwork for Spicher and Company which she cofounded with her husband Mark. In addition, she had a focused passion for her original artwork which she sold through Nantucket Country on Nantucket Island and later directly to all her customers. Her gift touched thousands of people. In her later years she taught herself the passion of pottery. It was amazing to see, as quickly as she created paintings or made pottery it was sold, and she was very proficient and fast! Her spirit and love of life showed through in every piece she created.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 34 years Mark C. Spicher, three sons, Thomas Christian Spicher and wife Anna of Hatfield, PA, William Christian Spicher of Enola and Ian Christian Spicher also of Enola, five sisters, Kathleen (John) Hefelfinger, Kimberly (Paul) Hagenbuch, Kristin Wickard, Kurin (Steve) Shenk and Karen Wickard and several nieces and nephews.
