Kenneth Lee Lucas, 61, of Boiling Springs, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at the M. S. Hershey Medical Center. He was born on Saturday, January 14, 1950, in Jersey Shore, Pa, a son of Mary Ellen (Probst) Keefer of Jersey Shore and the late William L. Lucas.

Ken graduated in 1968 from Jersey Shore Senior High School. He was most recently employed at the Carlisle Barracks Post Exchange and had also worked at the Officer's Club at Carlisle Barracks and Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill. Ken enjoyed music and dancing.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his life partner of 34 years, Rick E. Condran of Boiling Springs, brothers; William Lucas, Randall Lucas, Holland Lucas and Duane Keefer, his sisters; Bonnie Polk, Karen Garrett, Carolyn Bergmann and Patricia Sweet, his step-mother, Betty Heefer and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services to celebrate Ken's life will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 1, 2011, in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Pastor Tim Wheeler officiating. Burial will be in Springville Cemetery, Boiling Springs. Viewing will be held on Friday from 1 p.m. until time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House of Charity, 745 W. Governor Rd., Hershey, PA 17033.
