Kathryn N. Pennypacker, 97, of Carlisle, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at Thornwald Home in Carlisle.  She was born on May 11, 1925, in Gilbertsville, Montgomery County and was the daughter of the late Rufus Nester and Edna Mae (Moyer) Nester.  She was the widow of Robert L. Pennypacker who passed away in 1976.

Kathryn graduated from Pottstown High School and attended Secretarial School.  Kathryn retired after many years as the school secretary for the Daniel Boone High School in Birsdboro.  She was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Birdsboro.

She is survived by two daughters, Anne (husband Terry) Keiser of Carlisle and Kathleen Mehosky of Harrisburg, one son Robert E. (wife, Shelley) Pennypacker of Stella, NC, one grandson Daniel R. Pennypacker, one granddaughter Jordan Corino and two great-grandchildren.
