Kathleen Roe, 91, of Carlisle (formerly of Dubuque, Iowa) passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016 in Chapel Pointe at Carlisle. She was born to the late William Hunt and Mary (Shaw) Hunt in Osterdock, Iowa on June 15, 1925.

She married her beloved husband Emery L. Roe (deceased) on February 14, 1942. Kay devoted her entire life to her husband and family. She was an avid golfer winning many tournaments in her home State of Iowa. Kay was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Carlisle.

She is survived by three daughters: Sharon Barth of Lancaster, Sandra Emerick of Lancaster and Janice and husband Michael Mazock of Newport. She also is survived by five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Private services will be held at the discretion of the family. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions can be made to the Chapel Pointe Benevolent Fund at 770 S Hanover St, Carlisle, PA 17013.
