Katherine B. Rickard, 86, of Shermans Dale and formerly of Carlisle, passed away at home on Friday, December 30, 2022.  She was born on December 8, 1936, in Charleston, WV and was the daughter of the late Warren Westley Lanham and Golda Mae (Duff) Lanham.  She was the widow of Robert P. Rickard, who passed away on June 9, 2001.

She graduated in 1955 from Stonewall Jackson High School in Charleston, WV.  Katherine worked as a policy administrator for the Plough & Lillich Agency and the J. Rodney Fickel Insurance both of Carlisle.

She survived by her children, Robert C. (Jean) Rickard of Dillsburg, Margaret "Beth" E. (Elwood) Anderson of Shermans Dale, Robin R. (Scott) Whitcomb of Mechanicsburg, Rourk M. Rickard of Shermans Dale and Heather R. (Scott) Ilgenfritz of Hummelstown, one brother Larry (Cheri) Lanham of Russell, KY, 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
