Karen L. Thomas, 61, of Enola, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2017 in Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg after a lifelong battle with Cerebral Palsy. She was born on March 17, 1956 in Carlisle, and was a daughter of the late Robert E. and Betty L. (Chronister) Thomas.

Karen attended the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Enola.

Karen is survived by her devoted family which includes her two brothers; Robert L. (wife, Kathy) Thomas and Charles E. (wife, Diane) Thomas, both of Mechanicsburg, two sisters; Kathy J. (husband, Stan) Gartner of Dillsburg and Janice M. (husband, Howard) DeTraglia of Mechanicsburg and ten beloved nieces and nephews.

A viewing will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 10, 2017 followed by funeral services at 2:00 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Rev. Norman Spangler officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.
