Judith M. McCoy, 90, of Carlisle passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, in the Church of God Home, Carlisle.  She was born on July 25, 1934, in Carlisle and was a daughter of the late Albert L. McCoy and Ruth M. (Cooley) McCoy.

Judith graduated from Carlisle High School.  She worked in the U. S. Federal Government and was stationed in Germany during President's Kennedy's administration.  After she left the federal government, Judy worked in San Francisco and then later in New York City.  She returned to Carlisle nearly 23 years ago and worked for the Cumberland County Library System and retired after many years of service.

She is survived by one sister Ellen McArdle of Issaquah, WA and several nieces and nephews including Stephen Barley of Carlisle.  Judith was preceded in death by one brother Ronald McCoy and two sisters, Nancy Barley and Elizabeth Boggs.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Westminster Cemetery, 1159 Newville Rd., Carlisle with Rev. Richard Reese officiating.  Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle is in charge of the arrangements.  Please visit www.Since1853.com to send condolences.
