Joyce A. Snyder, 83, of Carlisle, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Brookdale Grandon Farms, Mechanicsburg.  She was born on February 27, 1939, in Carlisle and was a daughter of the late Raymond and Sarah (Calaman) Minich.  Joyce was the widow of Robert P. Snyder who passed away on December 17, 2016.

Joyce was a devoted homemaker and did babysitting for many years in her home.  She was a member of the Carlisle United Methodist Church and the Middlesex Senior Citizens Group.

She is survived by three daughters, Tamera Windish of Harrisburg, Donna (husband, Vaughn) Ludwig of Carlisle and Robin Hockenberry of Mt. Holly Springs, one sister Carolyn Diehl of Carlisle, seven grandchildren, Lindsey Gayman, Emanuel Ludwig, David Windish, Brett Ludwig, Nicole Windish, Roland Miller and Ryan Miller and six great-grandchildren, Jocelynn Gayman, Drayson Gayman, Dorian Windish, Elijah Ludwig, Sullivan Ludwig and Harlow Ludwig. She was predeceased by six brothers, Teddy, Raymond, Jr., Les, Ken, Dick and Gary Minich and two sons-in-law, David Windish and Roger Miller.

A viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 4, 2022, followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Rev. Jake Waybright officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.
