John A. Shughart, 62, of Carlisle, died on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at UPMC Pinnacle Carlisle.  He was born on June 19, 1958 in Carlisle and is a son of Ronald E. Shughart and the late Shirley M. (Peffer) Shughart.

John worked as a mason and construction helper for several local companies including, Forest Hunter Masonry, Fickes Silo and for Norm Elm general contractor.

In addition to his father, he is survived by two brothers, Lee (wife Kelly) Shughart and Steve (wife Linda) Shughart, one sister, Wendi (husband Donald, Jr.) Shipp, one nephew, Cody Shughart and many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services and burial will be private in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle with Rev.
