John A. Jakomas, 38, of Carlisle, died on Wednesday, February 26, 2014, in Carlisle. He was born on July 26, 1975, in Carlisle, a son of the late John H. and Charlotte Ann (Hall) Adams Jakomas.

John was a 1993 graduate of Carlisle High School and attended the PA College of Technology in Williamsport for two years. John was currently employed by SCD Enterprises LLC.

He is survived by one son, Adreeyan J. Jakomas of Mt. Union, one brother, Donald "Mooch" Adams, Jr. of Carlisle, five sisters; Debra (John) Yeager of State College, Sue (Brent) Malcolm of Carlisle, Christine (Rick) Erickson of Mechanicsburg, Belinda (Robert) Ewing of Newville and Lisa Jakomas Konar of Delaware, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Pastor Tim Wheeler officiating. Burial will be private.
