JoAnn K. Robitaille, 83, of Mechanicsburg and formerly of Carlisle, passed away Friday, June 21, 2013, at ManorCare Health Services, Carlisle. She was born Jan. 3, 1930, in Harrisonburg, VA, the daughter of the late Alfred I. Steidle and Lena O. (Dickson) Steidle. She was the widow of Robert D. Robitaille, who died Dec. 4, 1975.

JoAnn was a 1947 graduate of Carlisle High School and a 1949 graduate of the former Carlisle Commercial College. She was employed for 11 years as a secretary for the Carlisle Area Chamber of Commerce and had also worked for the former Gay Jewelers, Carlisle. JoAnn was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses Carlisle Congregation.

She is survived by son, Michael J. (and his wife, Karen) Robitaille of Enola and twin sons; Robert K. Robitaille and David A. Robitaille, both of Mechanicsburg, two grandchildren; Robbie and Amy and three nieces.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at 2 p.m. in the Ashland Cemetery, York Rd., Carlisle, with Edgar Dorsey, Sr. officiating.
