Jessica (Jess) Ann Clouser, 35, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2019.  She was born on December 28, 1983 in Harrisburg and is a daughter of David B. and Sharon L. (Varner) Clouser of Mechanicsburg.

Jessica graduated from Bible Baptist High School in Shiremanstown.  She was most currently employed as a waitress with Scalles Restaurant in Carlisle.  Jessica formerly attended Bethel Assembly of God, Carlisle.  She enjoyed making floral arrangements, crafts and painting.

In addition to her father and mother, she is survived by two daughters; Alexa M. "Lexi" Clouser and Katelyn G. Perez, one sister, Christina L. Hershey, three brothers; David A., Gregory T. and Joshua D. Clouser, two special aunts; Phyllis B. Webber and Darlene M. (Steve) Sample, three nieces; Elizabeth Clouser, Evelyn Hershey and Gavrielle Wright and one nephew, Paul Clouser.

Jess has struggled with addiction for a number of years and is now at peace.  She was a devoted mother of two beautiful daughters.  She lit up a room and brought smiles to all she met.  Her compassion for others was endless.  May she rest in peace with Jesus Christ our Lord finally pain-free, our beautiful daughter, mother, sister and friend.

The family wants to break the silence of addiction.  To anyone reading this obituary, this demon is still out on the streets waiting to kill the next innocent suffering person thinking about using.  If we can save one or several lives and spare their families, we pray that breaking the silence of addiction works.

In memory of Jess, love your children in spite of their faults.  Rise above the stigma that surrounds addiction.

The family would like to thank the multitude of friends that have reached out.  It's comforting to know the impact that Jess has left on so many.

Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2019 in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle with Rev. Anthony DeRosa officiating.  Burial will be in Ashland Cemetery, Carlisle.  A viewing will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at the funeral home and on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until time of the service.  www.Since1853.com.
