Jeannette Morrison, 78, of Carlisle, died Sunday, July 10, 2011, at her home. She was born on Monday, December 12, 1932, in Carlisle, a daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Nora Mae (Smith) Case, and the widow of Leon C. Morrison, who died Dec. 4, 2008.

Jeannette was a homemaker and was a former member of the Hickorytown United Methodist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Moose, both of Carlisle.

She is survived by one son, Michael A. (and his wife, Karen) Morrison and one daughter, Sondra L. (and her husband, Robert) McCoy, both of Carlisle, four grandchildren, Neil and Jonathan McCoy and Michelle and Andrew Morrison, five great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and her care-giver, Eileen Heberlig. Jeannette was preceded in death by two brothers; Benjamin and William Case and one sister, Joan Butler.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at 2 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Brother Don Adams officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. Viewing will be on Wednesday from 1 p.m. until time of the services.
